See and Hear: Gnarwolves - Party Jams

It seems that it's becoming a regular occurence that I am asked the question, as I'm sure many of you have been, "Have you ever heard of a band called Gnarwolves?". Luckily the answer I always give is "Yes", followed shortly by some childish outburst of excitement that yet another person knows about this band.

This is because Gnarwolves seem to have absolutely exploded over the past year and deservedly so. They are constantly playing shows and not just local ones to their home of Brighton either but all over the UK. Their cataclysmic rise is also due to the release of their "CRU" EP a few months ago which delivered a mindblowing, ballbusting, slightly abusing experience over six tracks adding up to around about twelve minutes in total, all kicked off by the ridiculously anthemic "History Is Bunk"; the video for which has garnered a staggering amount of views on Youtube involving the three lads getting drunk in their living room. It's pop-punk (to give it a name) in it's purest, rawest form and the only band of the genre from our great country to not only compare to the Americans' ownership but completely blow it out of the water.

Which brings us to the latest offering from the band, "Party Jams". The video, released last month, is a montage of a show they played in their own house on Halloween. Still delivering angst and rage-filled punch with the hooks to match, "Party Jams" is the first track to be given the visual treatment from their forthcoming re-release of debut EP "Fun Club". And the best thing about it is that it's coming out on vinyl. Not just vinyl, but a double-disc vinyl available in three different colours.

The first disc is the "Fun Club" EP and the second is a vinyl of covers which have not been previously released. So there are two reasons for you to preorder it from Dog Knights Productions here. Get one while you can as they are sure to go fast. In the meantime, while you wait for it to arrive, enjoy the stream of the "Fun Club" EP here and the glorious track "Party Jams" below. Make sure to catch them at a show near you (or not near you) as these guys are really working hard and deserve to be heard.
